Ankita Bhakat from Tata Archery Academy wins a bronze medal in the Taipei Archery Open

Jamshedpur, December 8, 2024: Ankita Bhakat, an athlete from Tata Archery Academy, won the bronze medal in the Recurve Women category in the World Archery Indoor World Series held in Chinese Taipei from 6th - 8th December 2024. She defeated Lee Yunji from South Korea by a set score of 6-2 to secure the third position. Ankita has been performing exceptionally well at the international stage recently.

A total of 14 athletes from Tata Archery Academy participated in the event. Other athletes from the Tata Archery Academy also performed well in the competition. 8 out of 14 athletes cleared the qualification round where every athlete had to shoot 60 arrows from 18 m.
