Mumbai / Pune, July 28, 2022: As part of its bio-diversity series and on account of nature, Tata Power, in association with the Ela Foundation released their 4th book on ‘Amphibians of the Northern Western Ghats’, the first authentic photographic guide to all 52 species of amphibians in Gujarat, Diu, Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli, Maharashtra and Goa. The book was released by Vijay Namjoshi, chief Generation, Tata Power in the presence of Prabhakar Kale, chief Hydro, Parag Railkar, chief Civil and Estate, and members of ELA foundation and Tata Power.
This book is a joint publication of Tata Power and Ela foundation authored by Dr Satish Pande with inputs from Vivek Vishwasrao and Professor Gram Purohit.
Highlights of the book are:

Dr Satish Pande, director, Ela Foundation, further added, “The book is first of its kind and aimed at the conservation of the neglected taxon.”
This is yet another edition in a series of works released by Tata Power and Ela Foundation to highlight the rich biodiversity present in the Western ghats of Maharashtra.
