Tata Power Delhi Distribution (Tata Power-DDL), a leading utility supplying electricity to a populace of 7 million in North Delhi, has launched an exclusive scheme for its consumers on a new energy-efficient product range of super-efficient ceiling fans, in collaboration with Halonix. The fan uses brushless DC (BLDC) motor which is more efficient than non-5-star-rated fans.
With this launch, Tata Power-DDL has added another energy-efficient product to its existing product portfolio of LED bulbs, tube lights, ELCBs and ACs. The company aims to promote the usage of energy-efficient products among its consumer base, which will result in energy saving and reduction in electricity bills.
The new fan range of Halonix called Plasma BLDC Ceiling Fans comes with a special feature through which the fan consumes lower electricity as compared to a normal fan. These fans with their unique zero-friction technology saves up to 70 percent electricity and enhances the durability by two times. The fan comes with a smart remote control and 0.5 watt inbuilt LED lamp, and is financially and environmentally the smart choice for consumers.
Commenting on the launch, Ganesh Srinivasan, CEO, Tata Power-DDL, said, "We at Tata Power-DDL have always been the front-runners in introducing and promoting energy-efficient and safe solutions among our consumers. In continuation of these efforts, we have launched the Super-Efficient Ceiling Fan Programme in association with Halonix, exclusively for our consumers. Adoption of energy-efficient products will result in substantial saving of energy, so I urge our consumers to avail this scheme in large numbers.”
The fans are available at Tata Power-DDL’s energy-efficient products sales counters situated across all customer care centres, on working days between 10:00am to 03:00pm (Monday to Friday) and 10:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday. The fans are available in two colour options and carry a 2-year onsite warranty from the date of purchase.
