Tata Power Delhi Distribution announces winners of ‘Green Warriors’ campaign

  • Campaign received 1000+ remarkable entries from 50+ schools across the country
  • Ten winners won prizes up to Rs10,000; a certificate of participation for all participants

Tata Power Delhi Distribution (Tata Power-DDL), the pioneer power utility providing electricity to over 70 lakh users in Delhi, has announced the winners of their ‘Green Warriors’ campaign. The objective of the campaign was to encourage children to be the superheroes of sustainability and highlight the adverse effects of global warming.

The campaign received an overwhelming response from children with 1000+ entries, including poems, dances, enactments, etc., from 50+ schools. Each student's one-minute video was packed with innovative ideas to help save the environment, reduce and control global warming, and build a greener tomorrow.

The campaign is a part of the energy conservation initiative under the company’s ‘Club Enerji’ program.

The campaign also spread awareness using Social Media and on-ground activities. The entries were judged by an eminent jury comprising of senior officials from Tata Power-DDL.
