Tata Volunteering Week (TVW) is one such signature effort that brings together Tata employees, current and retired, as well as their family members to engage with causes close to their heart and give back to society.
Like every Tata Volunteering Week, the 16th edition too will put the power to change the world in your hand — the power to bring smiles, transform lives and spark hope. From September 5 to October 7, 2021, TVW16 will offer company organised exciting virtual and on-ground volunteering opportunities.
To participate, all you need to do is browse through the volunteering activities listed on the ‘View Opportunities’ page under TVW on Tata Engage website or connect with your company volunteering SPOC (Specific Point Of Contact for volunteering) to choose a cause that appeals to you the most. You can also curate your own volunteering activity with the ‘DIY Volunteering Guide’.

“Great, when did the Tata group start Tata Volunteering Week?”
Tata Volunteering Week, the event-based volunteering format of Tata Engage was launched on March 3, 2014, to commemorate the 175th birth anniversary of our founder, Jamsetji Tata. Today, the Tata group ranks among the top 10 corporates in the world in terms of hours of service through volunteering. In FY20, we clocked 1.52 million volunteering hours as a group.

This edition puts the power to bring in the change you want to see right in your hand. This edition will offer a wide range of company-organised virtual and on-ground opportunities which will allow volunteers to choose a cause they are passionate about, leading to better outcomes and positive impact.

You could also log on to Tata Engage website to view available opportunities and get in touch with the relevant contact person of the activity that interests you. You can participate in any Tata company’s activity, and in as many activities as you like.
You could also use the DIY volunteering toolkit if you want to plan / create volunteering activities on your own and inspire others, but don’t forget to report your efforts to your company SPOC.
